Luna is having a hard time hitting her stride in college, but her mom doesn't really want to hear that her alma mater is anything other than perfect. When Luna wakes up on in her dorm room...but in 1991...she has to see things quite literally through her mother's eyes. A play about connection, friendship, and finding your people.

In the College Collaboration Project, the Farm Theater commissions an up-and-coming playwright to write a brand new script for our students. This is Centre's seventh collaboration, and previous plays like John Proctor is the Villain (directed by Dr. Jennifer Goff) have gone on to wild success, receiving subsequent productions across the country, and even a Tony nomination! This year we are thrilled to welcome Nandita Shenoy, a performer and writer, whose work has been seen on everything from HBO to Broadway.

Tigers Be Still

Sherry has just finished art school with a grad degree and absolutely no sense of direction until her mother helps her get a job as a middle school art teacher. Part of this job is also being art therapist to the principal’s teenaged son, who is having trouble dealing with the death of his mother. At home, Sherry's life is pretty complicated too, with a sister who won't get off the couch and a mother who won't leave her room. With arts and crafts, a memorial shoe closet, and a little light dognapping, it’s a heartfelt comedy from one of the writers of New Girl about how we find joy in the face of pain.

The Snow Queen

Gerda and Kay have always been the best of friends, until a shard from an enchanted mirror freezes Kay's heart and sends him off the realm of the evil Snow Queen. To save her friend, Gerda sets out on a magical journey, befriending talking animals, battling mischievous snowflakes, and ultimately trying to solve the puzzle that will bring back her friend! An imaginative exploration of friendship and hope, The Snow Queen is a show for the kid in all of us!

Spring Dance Concert

Perhaps the most energetic and vibrant event of the season, the Spring Dance Concert is always a blast. Under the direction of Rebecca Stephenson and Teresa Tomb, Centre students perform contemporary and modern dance along with styles of dance from around the world.
