Roles available for Macbitches
NOTE: All characters in this play use she/her pronouns, but actors of any identity are welcome to audition.
Hailey - A freshman actress. She lands the lead role (Lady Macbeth) in the fall show.
Rachel - The senior "queen-bee" of the acting college.
Lexi - Another senior, outspoken, contentious, and even caustic at times. She is Rachel's roommate.
Piper - "An upbeat virgin," a sophomore from a conservative religious background.
Cam - A junior, who has never landed a name role yet. Struggles with depression and sees the theatre world with a bitter and realistic eye.
Auditions for Macbitches
Auditions for Macbitches are Nov. 18 @ 7-9pm and Nov. 19 @ 5-7pm in Grant 501!
First: if you are interested in auditioning or working on crew for Macbitches, please click here to fill out the interest form!
Next, click here to sign up for a slot to join us for auditions on Tuesday, Nov 18, 7:00-9:00pm. Callbacks will be held Wednesday, Nov 19, 5:00-7:00pm. Or, if you’re unable to make it on Tuesday, reach out to director Ollie Gibson to set a time for Wednesday.
For auditions, you can bring a prepared Shakespeare monologue, or you can just come and read from any of the pieces that we will provide.
If you are off campus this semester, but still want to audition, please choose a side and submit a video to director Ollie Gibson by Wednesday, November 19.
