General character descriptions are below. Feel free to reach out to the director if you would like the read the script or if you have any questions.

Angela – 20 – she/her – one of the popular girls – can come across a little entitled and self-involved. Has a soft spot for online shopping.

Tamara – 20 – she/her – Angela’s sidekick – she is insecure, but tries to hide it (of course). She loves a good kitten video!

Jake – 22 – he/him – Football player – handsome and athletic and keeps to himself. He feels things more deeply than it seems. Enjoys doing battle in heroic games on his phone.

Colin – 22 – he/him – Small and wiry with a permanent sarcastic smirk. He has a heavy wall up around himself. Pretty vicious online (and IRL) troll.

Rook – 21 – she/her – Wears all black, sports funky hair and an aggressive attitude. She is queer, and speaks up about injustice at every opportunity. Online, she takes absolutely no sh*t from anyone. Rook is able to speak Spanish.

Marci – 23 – she/her – mousy and friendly. Didn’t go to college, works remotely, and takes care of her mom. She’s a little lonely and looking for a community. Her Sims world is almost more real than her real world.

Stephen – 25-35 – he/him – energetic, enthusiastic, and idealistic. He runs the food bank that family has run for decades. He truly believes in making the world a better place, and it hurts how hard that is getting. Stephen is able to speak Spanish.

Antonio – 25-35 – he/him – Latine, native Spanish speaker – Antonio is Stephen’s partner in the food bank. He is matter of fact, task-oriented, and smart. He also cares deeply about the mission, and it turns out has a pretty wicked sense of humor.

Please note that, depending on who auditions, the gender of some roles may be flexible.
