Want to write, direct, design, or act in a brand new 11-minute play? Want to do it in just 7 days? Then the 7-11 New Play Festival is for you! It's a great chance to try on a new hat (or a favorite old comfy hat) without having to commit a whole lot of time.

HOW IT WORKS

Sept 13

• 5:00pm – pizza and teambuilding

• 7:00pm – writers begin!

Sept 16

• 12:00pm – scripts due

• 5:00pm – scripts distributed to directors, casts, and designers

Sept 17 & 18

• Rehearsals

• Gathering props, costumes, set pieces

Sept 19 – International Talk Like a Pirate Day

• Each script will have 1 hour of tech during the day, followed by a full run through at 5:00

• Performance time 7:00pm
