Hamlet – by William Shakespeare

November 13-16 @ 7:30pm

Directed by Daniel Bird Tobin

Come see this bold new staging of Shakespeare's most famous play.

See these "words, words, words" come to life before your eyes.

See Hamlet "hold the mirror up to nature" and discover the rot and beauty within.

Audience: Intended for high school age and older due to mature content (primarily violence).

[To be Determined]: A Devised Theatre Showcase January 27 @ 7:30pm

Led by Daniel Bird Tobin

In devised theatre, the artists participate in the active creation of a brand new piece of theatre. No one is only a performer, or desigher, or writer. Instead, everyone operates the many gears of theatre to create something completely new, wildly original, and wholly inventive. This showcase will share the work of an entire Centre Term of students experimenting with devising and creating different moments of theatre and performance.

Audience: Intended for adults due to possible mature content. Free to all.

The Farm Theater - College Collaboration Project –

A New Play by Enid Graham

April 23-26 @ 7:30pm

Directed by Jennifer Goff

How to Save Ourselves is the story of six mis-matched 20-somethings who come together to volunteer for six weeks at the Love Your Neighbor Food Initiative in the not-so-distant future. They all have their own reasons for being there, but Stephen and Antonio (who run the food bank) are just glad to have the help. In a world where climate emergencies, refugee crises, and violence seem like daily occurrences, it's sometimes hard to imagine how volunteering one day a week in one little food bank can make any difference at all. But when they find themselves in the midst of their own emergency, it turns out that maybe they have each other to turn to. And maybe, in this world, that might just be a miracle.

In the College Collaboration Project, the Farm Theater commissions an up-and-coming playwright to write a brand new script for our students. This is Centre's sixth collaboration, and previous plays like John Proctor is the Villain (directed by Dr. Jennifer Goff) have gone on to wild success, receiving subsequent productions across the country, and opening on Broadway this spring! This year we are thrilled to welcome Enid Graham, a performer and writer, whose work has been seen on everything from HBO to Broadway.

Audience: Intended for high school audience and above due to language
